Dr. Blocker takes great care to listen to his patients. In addition to general orthopaedic procedures he specializes in the most up to date total joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeries. He has stayed on the leading edge of his field. When indicated, he utilizes minimally invasive surgical techniques. He also routinely employs computer assisted navigation in his surgeries, a tool which has greatly increased the precision of certain orthopedic procedures. This a tool not available at most surrounding hospitals.
In addition to the other joints Dr. Blocker has special interests in disorders of the shoulder. He employs the latest arthroscopic techniques in the care of shoulder and knee disorders not requiring joint replacement. His goals are joint preservation when possible and joint replacement when indicated.
