Ed has been a Real Estate Professional since 1977 and a consistent multi-million dollar producer. Ed has held the Certified Residential Specialist designation from the National Association of Realtors since 1982 and actively pursues all opportunities in continuing education available through the National, State, and Local Associations. He currently holds Real Estate Broker Licenses in South Carolina and Georgia.<br /><br />Born in Savannah, Georgia Ed grew up in the Richmond Hill community near the Ford Plantation and acquired a deep understanding and love of the Coastal South and its Unique Lifestyle. A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Degree in Psychology, he was a founding member of the Eta Zeta Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Ed’s wife Diana is a Human Resources Professional and is also a graduate of Georgia Southern. Ed and Diana have two sons: Scott, Vanderbilt ’91, a Financial Planner in Charleston, SC; and Chris, UNC ’95, a Medical Supply Specialist in Atlanta, GA. Both sons are graduates of the Baylor Preparatory School in Chattanooga.<br /><br />Ed is active in the Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors, and is involved with Habitat for Humanity in organizing teams and personally working on construction projects to build low income housing for families in the area. He also serves on the Local Association’s Legislative Committee to monitor and support area legislation that promotes the rights of home ownership; and serves as Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee. Ed was the President of the Lowcountry EAA Chapter for several years, a local pilot’s organization in the Hilton Head area that promotes general aviation. Ed and Diana live in Sea Pines Plantation and are Members of Providence Presbyterian Church.<br /><br />When it comes to Realtors, Ed is a very practical real estate professional with an exceptional knowledge and understanding of real estate in the Lowcountry. He is always available to assist his clients in their real estate interests and is a “hands on” agent before, during and after the sale.
