Philosophy:
Dr. Bower is a 1979 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. He completed a Family Practice residency in Grand Rapids/ Michigan in 1982. He spent ten years as a full time clinical physician for a staff model HMO in Milwaukee. In 1992 he took a faculty position with the Medical College of Wisconsin as an Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine. At MCW/ Dr. Bower continues to spend more than half of his time in patient care. In addition/ he is actively involved with teaching MCW medical students at all levels. His special interests include preventive medicine/ childhood immunization/ family clinical practice/ and obstetrics.
