A Summary of Acquired Skills Gained Through Work Experiences: I had to provide the highest standard of customer service at every level to my clients and their families at all times under any circumstance with professionalism and courtesy. I also had to have a solid understanding and sensitivity of people from diverse cultures and economic backgrounds. In addition, I had to be able to effectively communicate any needs, instructions or other matters with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the smooth running of the facility which required strong verbal and written communication skills. This also required the ability to work effectively within a team to get the job done. I had to be able to effectively and accurately work under extreme pressure within a continuously changing environment. This required the consistent ability to problem solve any issue or problem as it arose continuously using critical thinking and analytical skills. Most or many times, this required the ability to anticipate, project or foresee any oncoming issues or problems and provide and implement the solutions. I also had to be able to effectively and accurately multi-task several duties or issues at one time on a continuous basis to do my job. This required the ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and manage my time and duties in order to get the job done in a timely manner. I also had to know when to delegate responsibilities as needed. Attention to detail and accuracy was a must. In addition to working in a team, I also had to be able to effectively and independently work on my own and manage and plan my own work day and duties with little to no supervision. This required a high standard of accountability and integrity on my part to do my job to the best of my ability. I also had to ensure that all company policies and safety regulations as well as state regulations were followed and carried out. I also had to start, keep and maintain accurate records on a continuous basis on paper and electronically with a high standard of confidentiality. In addition, I also had to continuously ensure that the facility was clean, neat, well stocked and staffed with the appropriate healthcare members. Also, I had to be able to accurately use math skills to convert measures in order to administer medications on a continuous basis. In addition, I have had several years of retail experience as well where I was required to accurately handling cash, credit cards and checks as well as other tenders as a cashier. I also had the opportunity to gain experience in the stock room, receiving and on the sales floor where I stocked merchandise, priced merchandise and assisted customers. I also helped to open several stores where I have learned and applied the same above skills in which I have learned to work as a team and independently as well.
