Philosophy:
My philosophy is to try to figure out what the patient's pain problem is and then help them to understand it. I find that so many doctors talk "to" their patients rather than "with" their patients. I do my best to bring myself to the patient's level and translate the medical lingo into something that they can understand. So many patients are looking to simply understand why they hurt. If they can understand it, then they can more fully take ownership of the process and comply with therapy.
