Philosophy:
Office practice of general psychiatry for mature adults, offering therapy and medication for a wide variety of psychiatric disorders. Psychiatric training at the University of Rochester School of Medicine provided an emphasis on medical-psychiatric interaction, a point of view which continues in this practice. As an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and later Clinical Associate Professor at the U of R, Dr.Wells participated in academic activites, including teaching of medical students and resident doctors, as well as publishing research studies of clinical issues in psychiatry. His current outpatient practice provides an eclectic combination of psychopharmicologic and psychotherapy approaches to treatment, based on many years experience in the field of psychiatry.
