Skills:
<skills> Ability to work fast and accurate. Ability to work efficiently by prioritizing work flow. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and respond quickly to emergency requests. Ability to provide good counseling and superb customer service. Excellence in studying and learning new things. For example, one of the tests I needed to pass to apply for a job in American pharmacy was TSE(Test of Spoken English). Korea was never colonized by England. Even English teachers in school didnt know how to talk in English. They taught reading and grammar. Id never had a chance to talk to an English speaking person unless I went to language institute. TSE was available once a month and only 2 or 3 pharmacists passed the test per year in the whole country. I remember many Korean pharmacists studied hard to pass the test. Many of them worked only part time or stopped working for a couple of years to prepare for the test. When I passed the test I was invited to a big meeting where many pharmacists wanted to hear how I prepared for the test and how I answered in the test. My pharmacology knowledge is very good and Im diligent in studying. It is pleasure to know new things and I want to make sure I know what I do. The more I study the more I realized pharmacology books are not enough. I bought an Endocrinology book about a month ago at a book store located in University of Washington in Seattle. Im planning to purchase more books regarding organs of our body such as kidneys and hearts. I am a hard working person. When I was with Rite Aid, the store I worked at only had two pharmacists and there were not much overlap between the two pharmacists. I worked 13hour shifts on every other Friday which we usually filled about 330 prescriptions during the day. And I was the only pharmacist. There was no cashier from 8pm to 9pm. During that time I helped at the register and drive through window. When there was still works needed to be done by closing time, I stayed longer to finish the work without asking the company for overtime pay.</skills>
