Philosophy:
As a psychiatrist and a sleep specialist, I bring a different perspective to sleep medicine than most sleep medicine specialists, With thirty years expereince of treating insomnia in the context of psychiatry, I am much better able to serve those patients whose sleeps disorders have behavioral components as well. Some little known facts are that 10% of children with ADHD have sleep apnea and 20% of adults with depression have sleep apnea and vice versa. You do not have to be obese to have apnea.
