My philosophy of care at the advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) level is that of providing comprehensive, individualized, accurate, and timely care that focuses on the patients' condition and needs. Focus is concurrently placed on the effects of illness on both the patient and their family. Patient education should be included with each encounter that is curtailed to their needs and abilities. Advocating for patient rights, access to health promotion, and knowledge of disease prevention.
