Philosophy:

Dennis N. Carter, MD was the first physician in Idaho to use endometrial ablation - an alternative to hysterectomy - for treatment of bleeding conditions. He is also a leader in the use of the hysteroscope, a minimally invasive approach to treating lesions of the uterine cavity. Dr. Carter earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. He is a member of the American Association of Pro Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
