About:

This is a wonderful time in our lives.

Many would disagree, but I believe in making amazing lemonade with lemons, and seeing the glass 1/2 full and not 1/2 empty.

As many are complaining how the the real estate market is in the dumpster right now, I disagree. The market is always going to be good for someone. You just need to make the choice whether it is going to be good for you.

In this area, our peak market was about July of '05; it was a seller's market, because thr prices of the houses being sold were through the roof. Yeah! -right? but it definitely wasn't a buyer's market. It was lemon-y sour for the buyers. Now, prices are definitely down, along with interest rates. This is a great time to buy, but not necessarily the highest point in the market to sell.

We should try and see the bigger picture: if you need to sell now, yes, you'll sell lower than perhaps you had origninally wanted.....but you will also be buying lower now. The media doesn't always provide that picture. Please do not let others tell you that it's not a good time in the real estate market. Take a minute to see how it relates to you. And, perhaps if you look closely, you'll realize that there's a great glass of lemonade, just waiting for you.
