Assist the doctor in all aspects of the patients initial consultation. Examinations on routine follow up. Assisting with office procedure: Cystoscopies, Prostate Ultrasounds, Vasectomies, Testopel Implants, Provenge, Bladder Cancer Treatments, biopsy of the bladder , biopsy of the prostate, blood draws, wound care, administering injections and any other procedures ordered by the physician. Accurately documenting and updating information into patient electronic medical records. I schedule surgeries, order pertinent blood test and x-rays. Retrieve clearances from appropriate doctors for anesthesia. Obtain referrals for medication, office visit and surgeries. Assist doctor in post-surgical care e.g. removing staples, stitches and much more.
