Disclosed are a modular audio/video assembly and method of assembly. The modular audio/video assembly can include a housing and a main board disposed within the housing. A plurality of interfaces can be associated with the main board and each interface can be coupleable to a module that provides audio/video functionality for the assembly. The frame rate of the video signal can be increased by clocking a video encoder at a desired clock rate.
