Used Interplant brachytherapy treatment planning software to pre-plan the implantation procedure of radioactive seeds to prostate cancer patients. Calculated the number of radioactive seeds to use and the activity/strength to order for the implantation procedure. Assay radioactive seeds before implant, check activity and confirm characteristics are correct for implant procedure. Assisted doctors in operating room with the implantation procedure creating/constructing a real-time/live implant plan. Interplant brachytherapy system used for real-time implant planning. Used Interplant brachytherapy system used for all post-implant planning, nomograms and a custom made operating room worksheet for freehand implant planning.
