Dr. Friedland is a board-certified otolaryngologist head and neck surgeon with fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University in adult and pediatric otology/ neurotology and cranial base surgery. He has specialized training in surgery for hearing restoration including placement of cochlear implants bone-anchored aids and implantable hearing aids. Dr. Friedland's clinical interests include surgical rehabilitation of hearing loss in the adult and pediatric population with cochlear implants. He also maintains a research program studying cholesteatoma and cochlear implant performance. His practice makes use of adjunct specialist such as audiologist, nurse practitioners and vestibular therapists with specialized training to provide you the best care.
