Philosophy:
A caring attitude and good listening are the most important attributes of a good family physician. I listen, I work with the patient to determine what they want and need from their doctor, and I communicate on a down-to-earth level with every patient.
Many medical interventions and drugs are more harmful than helpful, and my goal is to focus on what we can do to be truly helpful. I will be frank and honest with you about what we can help with and what we cannot. I am also sensitive to cost issues.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised to find that I am not the typical hard-to-talk-with physician. All my life, I have felt that being well-rounded and broadly experienced is the most important thing. This enables me to relate with you and your issues. And nothing is more important for your family doc.
