Abstract:
Provided herein is a method for detecting the presence or absence of at least one of toxin gene A, B, E, and F in a biological sample by means of PCR amplification using toxin specific primers and labeled probes in connection with real time or delayed detection. Also provided are specific primer and probe sequences, a diagnostic method and a kit comprising primers and probes for detection of toxin genes A, B, E, or F in a biological sample.
