Skills:
* Design, implementation and administration of client/server systems using virtual server technologies including clustering, load balancing, high-availability and fail-over environments, as well as conventional stand alone server systems. Design, implementation and administration of storage systems using SAN, NAS and DAS technologies as well as iSCSI and conventional RAID array environments. This includes system design, operating system installation and configuration, application installation and configuration as well as testing, benchmarking and deployment. Server operating systems include using Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2000, Enterprise, Advanced and Standard Editions, Windows NT and Linux. Virtual bare-metal operating systems and environments include VMWare, Citrix XenServer, and other vendor specific applications. Workstation operating systems include Windows 8(Beta), Windows 7, Windows XP, 2000, NT and all Microsoft legacies and some versions of Linux. These systems incorporate both IPv4 and IPv6. * Design, implementation and administration of support systems and applications such as the Windows Active Directory Domain controller environment, DNS servers, VPN servers, Database servers, Web servers, Mail servers, WUS servers, Sharepoint and File servers, IDS and IPS systems, Document Control and Enterprise PDM systems. Experienced with remote management, security scanning and hardening, load testing and benchmarking tools, as well as network monitoring, user activity, vulnerability scanning tools, auditing tools and troubleshooting products such as Wireshark, Nessus, DISA Gold Disk and FTK. * Installation, configuration and administration of Local and Wide Area networking software products and equipment including wireless technologies. This includes network operating systems, application software, equipment firmware images and upgrades. Administration, configuration and troubleshooting of network access equipment including firewalls, routers, switches and concentrators using all media types. Equipment vendors include Dell, HP, Cisco, Juniper, Foundry, Sonicwall, WatchGuard as well as others. Administration and implementation of support systems include IP traffic/QOS shaping and compression, Digital Surveillance, VOIP systems, Security and Environmental control, Imaging and Scanning systems, Projection and Signage systems, barcoding, UID and RFID systems. * Network environments include Ethernet, TCP/IP, in both Local and Wide-area topologies using current transmission technologies. Experience with Mainframe, Client/Server and Peer-to-Peer networks in multi-protocol environments. Experience with networks of all media types, protocols and transmission methods. Familiar with most of the currently available vendor equipment and software. * System security architecture design, implementation and monitoring using current practices, intrusion detection software and techniques. Security equipment includes fingerprint scanners, cameras, access readers and CAC card readers. Experience with computer forensic tools and techniques, incident response, disk imaging and investigation methods, Have also served in the primary ISSO role, and as the secondary ISSM capacity when needed.
