Philosophy:

Substance use disorders affect roughly 20-25% of Americans at some point in their lives. There are a number of underutilized therapeutic and pharmacological treatments that can help in overcoming addiction. My aim is to utilize these treatments to eliminate the negative consequences addiction has on one's life. A number of factors can bring a client into treatment. Oftentimes, clients present with some degree of ambivalence about whether of not they actually need help (i.e. am I even depressed? I don't have a problem with drinking!). My practice meets all clients where they are at.
