About:
A fifth-generation Jacksonville native, I grew up as an active member of the Duval Audubon Society and other conservation and environmental organizations. Going on to study natural resources and conservation at the University of Florida, I graduated in 1994 and took a position managing timberland with an international forest products company. After five years as district forester with over one hundred thousand acres under my management, I moved on to the non-profit world where I managed the negotiation and acquisition of preservation land in northeast Florida for an international conservation organization. During my five year tenure, I successfully protected over twenty thousand acres of land (with an appraised value of over $30M) for federal, state and local governmental partners. This land will now remain natural and protected for future generations as City, State and National parkland in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. While still involved with land conservation, I found a new passion when I moved from St. Augustine to the Riverside/Avondale historic district of Jacksonville. I am an involved advocate of Jacksonville's in-town neighborhoods and do whatever I can to encourage urban renewal, historic home restoration and infill development. I am particularly excited by the opportunities that exist in Jacksonville as we are just on the cusp of the national trend of urban living. It is exciting to be involved in this movement and I see a world of potential in Jacksonville real estate. I currently reside in Riverside with my wife and our two dogs in a 1914 Craftsman home in Riverside and have been a Realtor since 2004. Some of my professional designations include, GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute), AHWD (At Home with Diversity) as well as all of the Cartus & Affinity relocation designations. While I specialize in the historic neighborhoods of Jacksonville, I am very familiar with all areas of town from St. Augustine to Fernandina Beach and I also know the vacant land market ranging from building lots to tracts of timberland.
