At least one of the side portions ( ) has a slit ( ) to enable the opening ( ) to be placed around a previously installed catheter. A plurality of straps ( ) are provided to wrap around the affected body portion of a patient. Loops ( ), in the shape of a partial figure eight, are used to hold catheter tubing ( ) to the main body ( ) to prevent unwanted removal of the catheter.

Tabs in various configurations are used to secure catheter tubing to the main body and to prevent unwanted removal of the catheter.
