CSSW Program Director David Garvin Named NASW-Michigan "Social Worker of the Year" on April 15, 2009. CSSW Senior Director David Garvin MSW, LMSW, has been named the 2009 National Association of Social Workers (NASW) -Michigan Social Worker of the Year. He earned the prestigious honor for his work in the areas of domestic violence, mental health and adoption. Notably, David helped to create and promulgate standards for intervention services to batterers that have made a difference throughout Michigan and beyond," said CSSW President Lawrence Voight. "We are proud of this deserved recognition of David's work and leadership."
