I am a licensed, board-certified psychologist and acupuncturist who has been in practice for nearly 40 years. As the founder and former Executive Director of the UCLA Pain Control Unit, I utilize a variety of non-drug treatment approaches including Interactive Guided Imagery(sm), EMDR, mind/body medicine, hypnosis, biofeedback. nutritional supplements, homeopathy, herbs, acupuncture, and Chinese Medicine. About half of my time is spent doing clinical research, and as a result, we are able to utilize the most leading edge, state-of-the-art approaches for optimal patient care.
