I am a Colorado Native. I grew up in Wheat Ridge and Indian Hills and I spent my teenage years in Arvada. <br /> <br />I graduated from Arvada West High School in 1977, home of The Wild Cats—purple and white, in 1977. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver in 1984, prairie home of The Buffalos—gold and black. I have a BA in English and a minor in Journalism. <br /> <br />I have been in real estate for 12 years. I only just joined the amiable and talented firm of RE/MAX Alliance 2008. Prior to joining RE/MAXI was the owner and managing broker of a boutique real estate firm in Northwest Denver—Raven Realty Inc. <br /> <br />I have lived in Northwest Denver since 1982 and I have lived in the same charming yellow and green 1892 Queen Ann Cottage since 1989. My home office is at 3330 Meade Street—you are welcome to come by for visit. <br /> <br /> <br />My favorite landmark is the Oriental Theatre at 44th and Tennyson, a 1920’s gem decorated in a Moorish style. These days the theatre hosts many entertaining live performances. <br /> <br />My favorite neighborhood is West Highlands, but I like to say that I know Denver and it’s neighborhoods like—“ Favorite poems.” There are many wonderful neighborhoods in the Denver Metro area. <br /> <br /> Two of my favorite novels are Lonesome Dove and A Prayer for Owen Meany. <br /> <br /> My favorite contemporary poet is Mary Oliver. <br /> <br />My favorite philanthropies are The Men’s Leadership Alliance and The Southern Poverty Law Center.
