PhD, LPC, health educator, author, and licensed professional counselor, has a doctorate in zoology with specialties in psychobiology (mind-body interconnection). His experience includes 12 years of clinical counseling in both private practice, medical, and university settings. He is EAGALA certified and his private practice, Mustang Medicine Works, LLC, does a lot of work is with troubled teens and their parents. He also works with adults and children.
Dr. Yardley is Professor Emeritus of Zoology of Clemson University with over 25 years of teaching and research in molecular biology and genetics, from which he draws heavily for his psychobiology specialty.
In addition to his book WindWalker: Journey into Science, Self, and Spirit, he has published over 75 articles, manuals, and papers in biology, sociology, spirituality, and counseling, and is currently working on his second book, BioTheology: Dancing with God in the Desert.
