Philosophy:
My treatment emphasis is on balancing the body for pain relief, and functional improvement of orthopedic conditions and internal medical conditions acute and chronic. While many times it is through referral for pain management or treatment of unresolved conditions that people find me, they often continue to come in after initial relief and healing of symptoms to address underlying health issues and for maintenance of health with a strong immune system - as well as for the benefits of relaxing into calm focus and feeling more connected. My work is an extension of body-centered awareness, and honed by the study and practice of palpation-based acupuncture of Japan and the herbal medicine of Chinese classics.
