Abstract:
A therapeutic method and associated composition for counteracting the negative and toxic physiological effects of the consumption or production of oxygen-modified toxins, such as alcohol, congeners, and associated metabolites, by augmenting or restoring the liver's ability to metabolize said elements, thereby preventing or abating the negative effects of the toxins, such as the symptoms of a hangover in the case of alcohol. Oxygen-infused water with a high solubilization level combined with caffeine, sodium, potassium, dextrose, or flavoring elements provides a therapeutic and pleasant dose before, during, or after the intake of alcohol, thereby increasing the metabolism of oxygen-modified toxin, alcohol, congener, and associated metabolites, replenishing nutrient levels deteriorated by toxin-introduction or alcohol consumption, and treating hangover symptoms.
