Abstract:
Nitric oxide synthase deficiency causes diminished ryanodine receptor S-nitrosylation leading to increased diastolic calcium (Ca+) and reduced intra sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium (Ca+) content. Compositions for treatment of cardiac failure and cardiac disorders such as arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death are described.
