After practicing for 28 years in a large group subspecialty practice in gastroenterology, I decided to become a solo physician in July of 2012. With this change I have been able to give individualized care to my patients which has been very satisfactory to me and them. I freely give my cellphone to all my patients so that they know when they call they will speak directly to me. I think patients are comforted by this.
