As a Chiropractor, I believe the body is meant to heal itself. With the proper alignment of the spine the nerves and muscles are able to function correctly. There are a number of ways to be adjusted from a light adjustment (with an instrument called and activator/arthrostim) to a more forceful (manual by hands) adjustment. All ages should be adjustment. At a young age, the adjustments allow children to grow and develop properly. At a mature age, the adjustments prevent degenerative changes.
