Philosophy:
Dr. Traynor graduated from Pennsylvania State University and received his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University. He then completed a surgical residency at St Mary's Medical Center. Dr. Traynor is trained in foot and ankle trauma and reconstruction, elective surgery and wound care. In addition to private practice he remains involved in student and resident education. Dr. Traynor is a clinical instructor for California School of Podiatric Medicine and clerkship director of the St Mary's Podiatric Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Traynor has lecture on foot and ankle wound care and amputation prevention and has published in international orthopedic and podiatric surgical textbooks and journals on conservative and surgerical management of the foot and ankle.
