Philosophy:
I specialize in the combination of medication assessment and psychotherapy. I believe one receives better care from a provider who can combine these treatments when necessary. The ideal client is interested in utilizing psychotherapy (be it cognitive behavioral, insight oriented, or family therapy) to improve their functioning. Pharmacologic interventions can be helpful as well, and we would work together to determine whether medications would be warranted.
