About:
Completing a 3,000 mile bicycle journey across America, Christopher Totaro attributes vision, drive, focus and follow through as a few of the qualities he relies on to achieve goals for himself and his clients. His complete dedication to helping to achieve the goals of others is one of many qualities he utilized as crew chief for Team Colorado to help get the team to the winners circle in the grueling 24 hour a day, six day event know as RAAM, The Race Across America. This is the level of dedication Christopher Totaro brings with him to Halstead Property, LLC. He believes that in order achieve the goals of his clients; one must be willing to utilize every resource available to achieve the best possible outcome for that client. To ensure his clients cross the finish line victoriously, he specifically joined Halstead Property due to the fact that when a client works with him they are in fact working with the entire Halstead firm. Prior to working with Halstead Property as an investor, Christopher did several deals exclusively through the well-respected firm because he recognized that although there are many good companies out there, Halstead set the standard for the industry. Award winning websites and global marketing power were certainly attractive to him, but it was the recognized integrity and the fact that Halstead is company that puts the customer first. Joining Halstead Property, LLC in 2013, Christopher brings with him 13 years of experience in buying, selling, designing and building in New York City and East Hampton. From the complexities of gut renovating a loft in Tribeca to subdividing a multi acre property with wetland issues in East Hampton, Christopher brings a unique and diverse set of skills integral in navigating the complexities of buying and selling real estate in New York City. Christopher has lived and worked in New York City and the Hamptons for the past 13 years. He built his home and studio in Tribeca 10 years ago; where he continues to live, raise his family and work. A long standing community member, Christopher has chosen to apply his love and knowledge of Tribeca to his real estate career. Being a parent, entrepreneur and artist, Christopher has the ability to share his unique perspective of the amazing blend of Tribeca old and Tribeca new. Additionally, those same attributes are the quintessential skills necessary to market the uniqueness of a very special community for those who are selling their spaces. Christopher believes that buying a home is only one element of the process. The apartment is the physical space in which we dwell, the community is the place where we live and thrive, Chris says. When the two are in the same place we call it a home. Christopher Totaro is a native to Southern California he relocated to the mountains of Colorado for 14 years where he raced bicycle, attended University and enjoyed success as an artist. He moved to New York in 2002 where he built his construction business while continuing to work and show his artwork in NYC, Tokyo and Shanghai.
