US Patent:
2006003, Feb 16, 2006
Filed:
Aug 16, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/930864
Inventors:
Seth Lederman - New York NY, US
Christopher Gamper - Baltimore MD, US
International Classification:
A61K 38/17, C07K 14/705
US Classification:
514012000, 530350000
Abstract:
The invention is directed to isolated protein fragments of p62 nucleoporin including deletion isoforms and nucleic acid sequences encoding these deletion isoforms. The isolated deletion isoforms disclosed herein include the sequences: SEQ. The invention is also directed to peptides which are at least 80% identical over their entire amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1, and SEQ ID NO:2 and salts thereof. Pharmaceutical compositions including the polypeptides, their isoforms, and methods for their use activating target genes are also provided.
