As a third generation Nevadan, Chris has an understanding of what a unique place Northern Nevada is and why most people enjoy living and working in the Reno/Sparks area. The Smith family has had a prominent influence in Reno’s history. Chris’s Grandfather was Raymond “Pappy,” Smith and the founder of Harold’s Club, an old Reno Casino that was in part responsible for putting Reno on the map. Pappy was a joy to work for and was passionate about Reno. Chris is also passionate about Reno and enjoys sharing his unique perspective for the city with his clients. He prides himself in being honest and loyal while working hard to meet his client’s needs. <br /><br />Chris graduated for the University of Nevada, Reno with degrees in English Literature and Photography. He is married with 2 children and enjoys serving his community by volunteering in various activities such as coaching youth soccer. He believes that Reno/Sparks is a unique and special place to live and enjoys raising his family here. <br /><br />Chris has 7 years of experience as a Realtor. He has been increasingly successful despite a declining economy and understands the demands of a dynamic real estate market. Chris has gained experience and expertise in transactions dealing with distressed properties, such as short sales and foreclosures. Although these situations often bring distress among families, Chris feels he is able to assist them through the difficult process and, ultimately, lead them to finding joy again through home ownership. <br /><br />Staying abreast of current market conditions and shifting legislature is Chris’ passion.
