Philosophy:
Dr. Yasenchak specializes in medical oncology with
an emphasis in cancers of the blood, lymphoma,
myeloma and intestinal cancers. He is Research
Co-Medical Director for Compass, and is an active
member of the national Hematology Research
Committee of US Oncology Research. Dr. Yasenchaks
practice philosophy is one of shared decision-making
and teamwork. His honest and direct approach gives
patients a clear understanding of their situation.
He outlines the pros and cons of treatment options
to help ensure patients are comfortable and fully
invested in their choices. When appropriate, he
encourages participation in clinical trials.
Outside of work, Dr. Yasenchak spends as much time
as possible with his wife and two children. He enjoys
fly fishing, running and keeping fit.
