My Bachelor of Science degree was earned in 1985 from Kansas State University with majors in Psychology and in Interdisciplinary Social Science. The latter emphasized Anthropology, Sociology, and Philosophy. I am a member of Psi Chi and Phi Kappa Phi academic honor societies.

I specialize in Buddhist approaches to psychotherapy & find that they integrate well with most western therapies, I am interested in a variety of the western therapies as well including those as diverse as the basic psychodynamic, behavioral & existential angles, In fact, it is this very integration which interests me most, Finally, to add one more layer, I like to step outside of the realm of psychology per se and to draw upon those elements from which the discipline of psychology developed
