Dr. Woodson has been in medicine almost 30 years. She began as a medical school professor, developed a geriatrics program for a community health system and, for the past 9 years, she has been in solo- private practice. Woodson Center is an adult wellness service. We educate and partner with all adults to protect their health and we help mid-life adults and Babyboomers avoid the health challenges their parents face to AGE EXCELLENTLY! We also offer the only comprehensive geriatrics evaluation service in the region. Working with patients and families, or with other doctors by referral, we help seniors receive excellent care without destroying caregivers’ physical, financial, emotional or spiritual health. Dr. Woodson’s book, TO SURVIVE CAREGIVING: A Daughter’s Experience, A Doctor’s Advice, was published in 2007 to bring her expertise to family caregivers and the professionals who serve them.
