I am a Las Vegas native, born here when UMC was called Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital. Going to school we were called "desert rats". That is because, and even our city living relatives believed that we lived in what everyone called the middle of nowhere. Great childhood, wonderful place to grow up, which I did, got married, moved to Southern California and received my California Real Estate license in 1978. (Don't gasp, it's only a year) In 1988 I returned to Vegas, minus the husband but with children in tow. It has been real estate ever since mixed in with owning a crane company and getting the kids out of the house. It is still real estate, I live it, breathe it and love doing it. Along the way I have earned designations, Certified Residential Specialist, e-pro and I have a property managers permit, I started Lockhart & Associates in 2000 and never looked back.
