As a surgical subspecialist, I believe the best care is delivered by focusing on one procedure, doing it well, and doing it a lot. As a cataract specialist in practice for 22 years, I perform over 2000 procedures a year. By national standards this is one of the highest volume cataract practices in the country. A custom approach to cataract surgery helps meet the expectation of the patient who desires to not just achieve medical and surgical success but also wants optical perfection and not be dependent on glasses postoperatively. A personalized approach to patient care is emphasized. Patients may call anytime for any questions they may have. Access to home and mobile communication are readily available. Every patient receives a phone call from me after surgery to answer any questions and to be sure the postoperative course is proceeding normally. A strong emphasis is placed on answering all questions and making the patient feel comfortable with the surgical process.
