Philosophy:
Most patients with chronic painful conditions have experienced the feeling that others think their problems must all be in their heads, or that they should be able to 'just deal with it'. However, the medical profession has experienced a paradigm shift in their view of pain as they begin to unravel some of the mysteries of chemical and physical changes in the nervous systems of patient with chronic painful conditions. There are many new techniques and medications which can help alleviate pain and suffering. If you have a painful condition that interferes with your daily activity, discuss it with your doctor, and see if a referral would be appropriate. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your doctor to help you become more productive, healthy, and happy.
