I believe our thoughts affect our feelings, and our feelings affect our behaviors. When we are able to change the way we think about a person or situation, we are then able to change how we feel and what we choose to do regarding that person or situation. I find this treatment philosophy to be helpful to my clients, especially couples who are dealing with an addiction, as well as adults dealing with the trauma of childhood abuse.
