Lines On Paper Magnifying Glass

US Patent:
6775075, Aug 10, 2004
Filed:
Jun 25, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/606054
Inventors:
Catherine Solich - Cape Coral FL 33991
International Classification:
G02B 2702
US Classification:
359803, 359802, 359806, 359805
Abstract:
The invention discloses a magnifying assembly that may be clamped on printed sheets or pages in a book. The assembly consists of two part. One part is an elongated magnifying glass having a flat bottom and half circle shape top. The other part is a holding element that has a receiving cage at one and an extending flat section adjacent the cage. The magnifying glass is inserted into the cage to be held therein. The magnifying glass may slide in the cage to change the size of the assembly. The friction between the bottom of the magnifying glass and the holding element is increased by providing an upstanding friction knob at one end of the holding element, by providing an upstanding friction knob on a flexible element intermediate the one end and the cage and by angling the cage relative to the flat section. thereby, by pushing the magnifying glass into the cage the flat bottom of the magnifying glass will force the cage and the flat section into a straight line.

Embroidery Aid And Assembly

Embroidery Aid And Assembly

US Patent:
2001005, Dec 13, 2001
Filed:
May 29, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/866064
Inventors:
Catherine Solich - Cape Coral FL, US
International Classification:
A41H031/00
US Classification:
223/10900R, 223/106000
Abstract:
The invention is directed toward an embroidery and aid assembly that is made up of a plate having an aperture therein. A magnifying glass is mounted over the aperture and maintained over the base plate at a slight spacing so that an embroidery pattern can slipped under the magnifying glass and over the base plate. The bottom of the magnifying glass has a sight line thereon so that a reader can clearly see the stitch progression and clearly identify a particular line on the pattern in the process of stitching. The bottom plate has various ways of retaining embroidery implements thereon, thus making it an assembly, while the magnifying glass is an aid to the embroidery process. A bag is designed to contain the above noted embroidery assembly, thus making it kit. The bag has on one edge thereof a hook to hang the bag at a point of sale. Another edge of the bag has a zipper thereon, while the opposite edge of the zipper edge has a pocket fold thereon to enable the bag to expand to a larger size.

Plastic Identification Clip

Plastic Identification Clip

US Patent:
2008028, Nov 27, 2008
Filed:
May 20, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/154113
Inventors:
Catherine Solich - Cape Coral FL, US
International Classification:
A44B 21/00
US Classification:
24571
Abstract:
The inventive concept is an identification clip that is made of a flat plastic material and formed into a U-shaped form. One of the legs of the U-shape has a flat outer surface to place indicia thereon either in writing or in a decal form. The other leg of the U-shaped form has lateral corrugations thereon to enhance the friction force when the clip is applied to a bundle of materials. Both of the legs of the U-shaped form are diverging from each other toward the U end. This will enlarge the loading capacity of the clip. The U end of the clip has a longitudinal bulge on its outer surface to increase the tensioning of the clip as the clip encounters heavier bundles. The open ends of the both legs of the U have upturned edges thereon to make it easier when applying the clip to any object. That object may be a bundle of fabric folded upon itself in several layers or it may be a stack of fabrics or papers etc.
