Philosophy:
I work with children and adolescents to help them develop coping skills to deal with issues such as school related difficulties, traumatic experiences, divorce as well as abuse and neglect. When the child's sense of self-acceptance, self-worth and self-respect are enhanced, they are more likely to exhibit empathy and respect toward themselves as well as toward others. I also work toward enabling each child to develop an increased sense of responsibility and self-confidence where they believe in themselves and exhibit positive self-talk such as "I can do it."
