Philosophy:
âÂÂLife can be hard sometimes. Often the key to happiness lies in learning how to control your thoughts and memories, instead of being controlled by them. Improving the ability to monitor your thoughts has been proven to help people suffering with Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, Communication Breakdown, and many other troubles of the mind. Through targeted mindfulness practices, we can learn to slow down and think more clearly, even in the toughest situations. "The highest nobility lies in taming your own mind" (Atisha).
Many of today's therapies have their roots in Eastern healthy mind traditions, thousands of years old. My practice often combines Eastern mindfulness and meditative practices with todays proven therapies to help clients learn to take comfortable control of their minds and their lives.
As we all should have learned in Kindergarten, if you want kindness, learn to be kind. If you want friends, learn to be friendly. It's true... For every action there is a reaction. You cannot control the future, but you can influence it with your choices, so, be nice :-)âÂÂ
