Abstract:
The instant invention describes a method of treating wastewater generated from structures containing concentrated numbers of individuals prior to the wastewater entering a municipality's sewer system. The method involves delivering bacterial formulation to an area that has access to the main pipes responsible for delivering the structure's wastewater to the municipality's sewer system whereby such bacteria establish a biofilm which treats the wastewater generated by the occupants of the structure as the wastewater is transported to the city's main sewer system.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed toward a device and method of dispensing biological solutions into a wastewater treatment system containing a floating mixer adapted to dispense biological solutions. The floating mixer with dispensing capabilities is strategically positioned within water holding areas, such as ponds or lagoons. The floating mixer and dispensing unit contain a flotation platform or other support structure, an impeller or similar device to create a flow pattern, and a dispensing device for controllably dispensing a microbial, preferably bacterial, solution.
