Filed:
Dec 15, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/969116
Inventors:
Bryan Bruce Willert - Saint Louis MO, US
International Classification:
A61L 9/12
US Classification:

At least one of the base and the cap includes a plurality of apertures for permitting ambient airflow into the interior space. The scent-releasing apparatus also has a dispenser positioned within the housing. The dispenser includes a blister and a gas-impermeable membrane layer removably coupled to the blister for covering a volume for containing a scent-releasing material, the gas-impermeable membrane layer configured to substantially seal the scent-releasing material from ambient air when in a sealed position. The gas-impermeable membrane layer includes a tab portion extending at least partially outside of the housing, the tab portion configured to prompt removal of the gas-impermeable membrane layer from the sealed position to an unsealed position in which the scent-releasing material is exposed to ambient air.

US Patent:
2012004, Mar 1, 2012
Filed:
Aug 24, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/862562
Inventors:
Bryan Bruce Willert - Saint Louis MO, US
International Classification:
A61L 9/04
US Classification:
239 57
Abstract:
A scent-releasing apparatus is provided. The scent-releasing apparatus includes a housing having at least a front wall, a back wall, and a side wall connecting the front wall to the back wall. The housing defines an inner chamber, wherein at least one of the front wall and the back wall includes a plurality of apertures. At least one cover member is removably attached to at least one of the front wall and the back wall for covering the plurality of apertures, and the housing and the cover member are configured to substantially seal the inner chamber from ambient air. A scent-releasing material is positioned within the inner chamber, and the scent-releasing material is configured to release a scent through the apertures when the at least one cover member is removed from at least one of the front wall and the back wall.
