Philosophy:
I am a conservative surgeon, meaning that I do not recommend surgery unless non-operative treatment has failed, or unless there is no reasonable non-operative alternative treatment. For many problems, physical therapy, injections and medications can bring relief. If surgery is necessary, I favor minimally invasive, arthroscopic techniques whenever possible, for the best possible results with the lowest risk and shortest recovery time.
