A passion for problem solving, beautiful homes and architecture, as well as a commitment to helping people drew Brian away from successful career in recruitment and into real estate in 2002. It’s been full steam ahead ever since, Brian began at Harborside Realty in Edgartown, then went on to get his Florida real estate license, splitting his time between the Vineyard and Florida and gaining deeper perspective on the world of vacation homes and resort properties. Brian next worked in Boston at Keller Williams Realty where he gained experience with urban markets as well as continuing his work with waterfront properties. He returned to his Vineyard home base to join the team at ReMax on Island, where he became one of their top producers.<br /><br />Starting his own agency was the logical next step as Brian continued to develop and grow his realty experience and style. He saw the need for a boutique, detail-oriented, approachable storefront agency where Islanders and visitors alike could stop in to chat about real estate in a low pressure and comfortable environment. <br /><br />“I really enjoy helping people understand real estate, helping people through what can be a difficult process. I’m good at listening to, and interpreting a client’s needs, but also encouraging the people I work with to consider the entire realm of real estate possibilities. Ultimately, I just love Martha’s Vineyard and want to open other people up to the magic and the beauty of the Island.” <br /><br />Brian fell under the spell of the Island on a visit right after college; he especially loved being surrounded by water, and the relaxed atmosphere and attitude of the community. He started by working in hospitality at the Tisbury Inn and Vineyard Golf Club. He cares deeply about the Island and enjoys being up to date on Vineyard folklore, history, politics and eccentricities. Besides a deep affection for his Island home, Brian is also passionate about sailing and all things to do with boats, entertaining, and dining out.
