Description:
As a self proclaimed "building geek" I keep up with modern construction materials / methods, and enjoy studying the history behind them. One of the things I love most about what I do is seeing history through construction. Not architecture necessarily, but the physical act(s) of assembling a building. The oldest building I've inspected was built in 1773; before electricity, trucks, etc. when folks gathered materials from the home-site using horse drawn wagon, and assembled those materials piece by piece by hand. Right up to today, with the modern tools and materials we have; construction materials and techniques are always improving, and we're always learning.
Our emphasis at HomeStudy is to provide an educational perspective about your new house; it's present condition, and how you can maintain, preserve, and make this "new to you" house your home. We do this through a comprehensive, thorough inspection, a narrative written report, unlimited consultation and lifetime customer service.
Speaking of history, I've also inspected homes for the children of my clients!
We also offer radon testing, wood destroying pest inspection, well flow, septic dye testing, mold inspections, and expert witness consultation.
You can trust HomeStudy to treat you well, answer your questions, and provide confidence in your new home purchase.
